Pair: Private G. C. Hall, Lincolnshire Regiment, who died in France on 18 November 1918

George Cressy Hall, Lincolnshire Regt.’, mounted in a large glazed display frame, with Buckingham Palace enclosure affixed to the reverse, nearly extremely fine (4) £80-£120

George Cressey Hall was born in Nafferton, Yorkshire, and attested for the Lincolnshire Regiment at Beverley, Yorkshire. He served with the 1st Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front, and died on 18 November 1918, just one week after the Armistice. He is buried in Etaples Military Cemetery, France.
