North Devon Militia An Officer’s Hall Marked Silver Gilt Shoulder Belt Plate, a very fine and rare example, the oval backplate (HM (Birmingham) 1817 by ‘I.H’ with gilded obverse, this is also engraved centrally with the Union flag, a cast silver overlay showing St. Edward’s crown and a strap, ‘North Devon’ is pinned through.
