DS&S were makers David Shackman & Sons Ltd, who manufactured gold cases for Rolex from the 1960s. After the Birmingham based company Dennison closed its doors for the final time in 1967, Rolex purchased almost all its UK market gold cases from Shackman. There was some overlap in the dates between the two suppliers.
