A Late Roman/Byzantine bronze oil lamp, 4th-6th century A.D., with pear shaped body, a flat base and a high handle adorned with a heart shaped frame terminating at each corner in a spiral decoration, the central filling hole with hinges for a lid (now missing), projecting pointed oval nozzle, length 13.4cm, width 5cm, height 7.5cm. £150-£200
