A German Second World War Army Officer’s Dagger. Excellent blade by F. W. Holler, Solingen. All cross grain finish remaining. Deep orange grip. The coloration of the cross guard, upper pommel, lower ring and scabbard all match. Complete with a set of hangers of which the sprung loaded clips all function correctly. The brocade has shredded and slightly oxidised but still strong. Tied to the dagger is a shredded army dagger knot, good condition £180-£220

The German Second World War Luftwaffe 2nd Pattern Officer’s Dagger attributed to Night-Fighter Ace Feldwebel Rudolf Frank. Excellent blade by WKC, Solingen. The blade has been personally marked beneath the Luftwaffe eagle cross-guard ‘R.F.’ on one side, and ‘NJG III’ on the other. A German Second World War Armed Forces Parade Bayonet. A nice clean Eickhorn bladed parade bayonet, good bright form with its leather washer, undamaged celluloid grips, all nickel plating remaining to the upper pommel, which is slotted for a rifle with the fixing system present and working correctly. A very good matched number bayonet with the blade retaining virtually all of its original blueing, numbered 9586 which matches the number stamped to the front of the scabbard. Bakelite grips. The buckle is maker marked ‘R.S & S’ to the reverse side in raised relief.
