Visit to Ireland 1903 (C. W. J. Wellwood. R.I.C.) lacking integral top shamrock suspension bar; Belfast Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, silver medal (Constable Wm. J. Wellwood, R.I.C. Belfast. 1913.) traces of brooch mounting to reverse of latter, with later bronze suspension and lacking integral top silver riband buckle; obverse of first worn, therefore fair, the reverse good very; edge bruising to later, otherwise good very fine (2) £100-£140

Sold with an Ulster Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Testimonial on Vellum, named to ‘Constable Wm. J. Wellwood, R.I.C., of Lurgan’, and dated 22 September 1904, in scroll tube holder; and a Certificate for the Ulster Society’s Bronze Medal, named to ‘Constable Wm. J. Wellwood, R.I.C., of Belfast’, and dated 18 January 1911.
