Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 1 clasp, Rhodesia (208 Tpr: R. P. Mead. Rhodesia Regt.) officially re-impressed naming, nearly extremely fine £140-£180

Provenance: Dix Noonan Webb, June 1997.

Robert Percy Mead attested for the Rhodesia Regiment on 28 August 1899, and served with Colonel (later Field Marshal) Plumer’s Column for the relief of Mafeking, but died of disease at Tuli on 7 March 1900.
