Frederick Weeks, 1st Battalion East Kent Regiment (The Buffs), entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 7 September 1914. He died of wounds on 21 September 1916, aged 22 years. He was buried in the Grove Town Cemetery, Meaulte, Somme, France. He was the son of George and Charlotte Weeks, of 55 Gordon Road, Strood, Kent. With copied m.i.c. which confirms the clasp to the 1914 Star.
