Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Shilling, 1644, mm. Shrewsbury plume on obv. only, rev. Declaration, three Oxford plumes between lozenges above, date and ox below, both between lozenges, lozenge stops both sides, four lozenges in front of rev. legend, 5.28g/6h (Morr. C-1; SCBI Brooker 939, this coin; N 2447; S 2975). A little small of flan, otherwise good fine, reverse better, dark tone £400-600
