Jesse Webb was born in 1836, and attested for the Rifle Brigade at Dudley in May 1854. He was absent without leave throughout July - October 1854, eventually being held in a Military Prison. Webb embarked for the Crimea in December 1854, only to return to the UK in July 1855. He was discharged, 17 October 1856.
