Peter Dering served in Captain C. Elderhorst’s Troop No. 7, 1st Regiment Light Dragoons, King’s German Legion as part of Major-General Sir William Dornberg’s 3rd Brigade during the Waterloo Campaign, and was wounded at Waterloo, 18 June 1815.
