Royal Garrison Artillery Territorial Force Officer’s Blue Cloth Helmet c. 1908-14, a good quality example complete with all gilt metal fittings, the frontal plate of Royal Arms pattern with laurel top scroll, a double wheel cannon and bottom scroll ‘Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt’, buff leather sweat band with crimson silk lining, the plate is original to the helmet, together with its japanned metal carrying tin this with painted detail ‘H.J.P.Thomas, R.G.A.T.F.’, some slight gilt loss to the chin chain and gilt loss to the ball finial otherwise very good overall condition (2) £360-460
