Haddenham Volunteers Medal 1806, a circular engraved medal with floreate border decoratively engraved with roses, 58mm, silver (no hallmarks), the obverse featuring ‘GR’ within a square frame on a tiled background, crown above, legend engraved on three sides ‘Haddenham Volunteers Best Shot’, the reverse inscribed ‘This reward for Skilfull Shooting was adjudged to Mr John Clay, April 1806’, with integral suspension ring, very fine £200-240
