Herbert Edwin Dixon was born in Hull, Yorkshire, on 18 August 1877, and served during the Great War as a Second Engineer in the Mercantile Marine.

Edward Thomas Cook was born on 2 July 1880 and enlisted in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve on 22 October 1914. He served in the Anti-Air Section at H.M.S. President, in London. He was not entitled to a Victory Medal.

Francis James Henry Roofe was born at Herne Hill, London, on 12 May 1894.
