The South Wales Borderers 5th Volunteer Battalion Officer’s Victorian Period Helmet Plate, in silver plate of crowned star pattern with laurel and Garter overlays, in the centre on a ground of black velvet laurel sprays enclose a Dragon, double title scroll at the bottom, the second one ‘5th Volunteer Battalion’ in gilt, three loop fasteners, very good condition £350-450
