Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 1 clasp, Rhodesia (Lieut. N. E. T. Bosanquet, 18/Impl. Yeo.) suspension bar a little bent, otherwise nearly extremely fine and very rare as a single clasp £250-300

Nicholas Edmund Tindal Bosanquet was born in 1879, the son of Bernard Bosanquet, High Sheriff of Middlesex. He was educated at Eton and played in the Eton XI at Lords in 1898. From 1899-1900 he served in the 7th (Militia) Battalion, Rifle Brigade (Tower Hamlets Militia) and served in the Boer War with the 18th (Sharpshooters) Battalion, Imperial Yeomanry. He was commissioned into the 4th Battalion, Rifle Brigade, on 26 May 1900, went to Reserve in 1905 and retired in 1906.
