A fine officer's shako of the Prince of Wales's Own Royal Regiment (WiltshireYeomanry Cavalry), the dark blue body with silver lace, white metal chin scales and fittings, red horsehair plume, white metal Maltese cross shako plate, Q.V.C. over Prince of Wales's feathers surrounded by garter inscribed with regimental title, silk lining, by Hawkes & Co., circa 1875. In excellent condition for age.
