M.M. London Gazette 23 February 1918 - awarded for the Battle of Welch Ridge, 30-31 December 1917, when the Germans, dressed in white suits on account of the snow, were successfully repulsed.

M.S.M. London Gazette 17 June 1918 'In recognition of valuable services rendered with the forces in France during the present War'. Only 30 awards to the R.M.L.I.
