Dennis Gilbert Lucking joined No. 90 Squadron in June 1943, and took part in 28 sorties as an Air gunner in Stirling bombers. His sorties included two attacks on Turin and the remainder against targets in Germany. On the night of 17th/18th August 1943, he took part in the mighty raid against the V1 rocket site at Peenemunde. Sold with further details including copies from the Squadron Operations Record Book giving details of his sortie.
