Indian Mutiny 1857-58, 3 clasps, Delhi, Relief of Lucknow, Lucknow (Gunr. C. Chambers, 1st Bde. Bengl. H. Art.) good very fine

Charles Chambers was a native of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, and enlisted in London for 12 years service in the East India Company’s Artillery on 28 March 1853. He served with the 1st company 1st Troop Bengal Horse Artillery throughout the Mutiny earning the medal with three clasps. He was discharged at Calcutta on 6 September 1859. Sold with copy service papers and medal roll.
