D.S.M. London Gazette 7 October 1941 “For courage enterprise and devotion to duty in successful submarine patrols.”

The D.S.M. was awarded for 6 war patrols in H.M. Submarine PARTHIAN in the Mediterranean including the sinking of the French Submarine SOUFLEUR off Beirut on 25 June 1941, as well as a Tanker and a Supply Ship.
