Edward Heymer was born in Shoreditch, London in 1824, and enlisted into the 16th Lancers in September 1841. He was also entitled to Maharajpoor Star and the Amy L.S. & G.C. Medal. Sold with a large and interesting quantity of copied research material. This medal is extensively featured in the book Researching British Military Medals, by Steve Dymond, a copy of which is included with the lot.
