A FRAMED MINIATURE PORTRAIT of Gordon Leslie Stevenson, Midshipman, Royal Navy, possibly on ivory, unsigned, the subject reclined on a pillow, 48mm x 62mm, contained in a contemporary leather display stand, this with some damage. Gordon Leslie Stevenson was appointed Midshipman 15 October, 1899, and served aboard H.M. ships Caesar and Renown. He died on 10 November, 1902, at the age of 19 years.
