2nd Lieutenant Marcus Broadford Clark, 1st Battalion Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 14 September 1915. As a Lieutenant in the 2nd Battalion he was killed in action on 25 September 1917. He was buried in the Hooge Crater Cemetery. Lieutenant Clark was the son of Allan Clark and husband of Ada Wilhelma Clark, of Hawks Hill, Boxmoor, Hampshire. With copied m.i.c., war diary extracts and casualty details. With cap badge added for display purposes.
