Charles Evans, proprietor of Evans’ Boarding House, 9 Mona terrace, Finch road; he was described as 42 years of age in the 1881 Census. He had moved from England with his wife and family in 1878 and was last listed in the Manx business directories in 1883 (Alan Kelly, pers. comm.)
