Germany Third Reich Period a Captured Polish Soldier’s Side Hat, Soviet Army Captain’s Shoulder Board and German Workers Arm Bands, the first in khaki cloth bearing a gilding metal die stamped Polish eagle cap badge stamped on the linen sweat band ‘1931’ and further stencilled on the fabric ‘1931 Warszaw/Wizinski’, the shoulder board yellow braid on maroon bears two small brass stars. Both items captured by Officer Von Wilfrid Felter - the first during the Polish Invasion 1939, the second on the Eastern Front 1943. The first arm band embroidered black on yellow ‘Deutsche Wehrmacht’ also bears remains of an official stamp (worn by German civilian workers attached to the Army), the second features an embroidered German eagle and swastika on white linen the band edged with narrow bands of azure blue (probably worn by German civilian workers attached to the Navy), slight moth damage to the first item, some fraying to the lining of the second, two tears to the third and some age staining to the fourth, otherwise good overall condition (4) £150-250
