Bowman’, slot brooch; Purple Heart, enamelled, unnamed, slot brooch; Army Good Conduct Medal, unnamed; American Campaign Medal; European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, one bronze star on ribbon; Victory Medal 1945, second with contact marks, nearly very fine and better (6) £250-350

Clarence E. Bowman served in the Army, 27 September 1938-26 March 1945. As a Technician Fourth Grade in the Headquarters Battery, 73rd Armoured Field Battalion, 9th Armoured Division, he was killed/died on 26 March 1945. His body was buried in the Leavenworth National Cemetery, Kansas.

Notes with the lot state that the D.S.C. was a posthumous award.
