22nd Light Dragoons Portrait Miniature c. 1800 a good quality example (5.5 x 4.2 cms) on ivory, the subject is shown wearing blue jacket with gold lace stand up scarlet collar trimmed with gold lace and white leather shoulder belt, contained in a gilt oval frame the reverse with a lock of hair and light silver wire decoration. The miniature is contained in a double hinged leather velvet lined case complete with easel stand.
