Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 3 clasps, Orange Free State, Transvaal, South Africa 1902 (4620 Corpl. W. H. Fox, Rl. Innis. Fus.) contact marks, nearly very fine £80-100

William Henry Fox was born in Clerkenwell, London. A Labourer by occupation and a member of the 5th Battalion Royal Fusiliers (Militia), he attested for the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers at London on 4 June 1894, aged 18 years, 5 months. He served in India, February 1896-January 1902 for which he was awarded the India Medal 1895 for service in the Tirah Expedition. He then served in South Africa, January 1902-March 1903. Discharged on 25 March 1903.
