Three: attributed to Second Lieutenant O. Holmes, Queen’s Royal Regiment (West Surrey), attached 6th Battalion Gold Coast Regiment, who died in Kenya, 22 February 1941

M.I.D. London Gazette 30 December 1941.

2nd Lieutenant Osmond Holmes, Queen’s Royal Regiment, attached 6th Battalion Gold Coast Regiment R.W.A.F.F., died in Kenya on 22 February 1941, aged 22 years and was buried in the Nairobi War Cemetery. He was the son of Alfred Osmond and Bertha Lucy Holmes, of Dulwich, London.

With original M.I.D. Certificate in glazed frame and unnamed Buckingham Palace condolence slip in envelope named to ‘A. O. Holmes, Esq.’
