Edward Cecil Brown served with No. 85 Squadron, Royal Air Force. He was killed in action when his plane was shot down by anti-aircraft fire over Western France on 18 October 1918. He had previously served in Egypt with the Royal West Kent Regiment, attached to the Army Service Corps, and was additionally entitled to the 1914-15 Star. Sold with a quantity of copied research material.
