Rupert John Colts Meek was born in High Barnet, Middlesex, and enlisted into the 21st Hussars on 2 May 1892, aged 18 years 6 months. He is confirmed on the roll for “B” Squadron at Omdurman and was awarded the Queen’s and Khedive’s Sudan Medals and clasp for Khartoum. He was discharged on 1 May 1904. Sold with copy service papers.
