1914 Star (4898 C.S. Mjr., 1/North’d. Fus.); Army L.S. & G.C., G.V.R., 1st issue (4898 C.S. Mjr., North’d. Fus.); Army Meritorious Service Medal, G.VI.R., 3rd issue’Fid. Def.’ (4898 W.O. Cl. 2, North’d. Fus) very fine and better (3) £180-220

Company Sergeant-Major Charles Horn, 1st Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 10 August 1914. Later captured and held as a prisoner-of-war.

With original named card box for the clasp and rosette to the 1914 Star and with copied m.i.c. which makes no reference to a clasp.
