Private Ernest William Baker, Scots Guards, entered France on 20 October 1914 and qualified for a 1914 Star. With copied m.i.c.

Herbert Weller was born in Longstock, Hampshire. A Gardener by occupation, he attested for the Coldstream Guards on 11 October 1911, aged 21 years. Entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 13 August 1914 and qualified for the 1914 Star. In October 1914 he received gunshot wounds to his head, right shoulder, right side and leg and on 27 October was evacuated to England. He was discharged on 29 September 1915 and awarded the Silver War Badge.
