France, Psyché et Cupid, c.1940, a bronze medal by M. Gaumont, winged allegory of Cupid supporting naked female figure of Pysche, reverse legend in Greek in four lines [translated as…and by the soul], 80mm. Minor spots of vedigris on obverse, otherwise very fine, reverse better, rare (£30-50)
