David Brown Adams was born in Glasgow, Scotland, on 3 June 1881. A Glass Worker by trade, he enlisted in the C.E.F. in June 1915 and was posted to the 14th Battalion, with whom he was serving when killed in action on 3 June 1916. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. He was the son of Lilias Brown Adams and the late Archibald Adams, of 12 North Street, Anderston, Glasgow; sold with copied service papers.
