Battle of Waterloo, 1815, original bronzed electrotypes of the obverse and reverse of the medal by B. Pistrucci, conjoined and laureate draped busts left of George, Prince Regent, Franz I of Austria, Alexander I of Russia and Friedrich Wilhelm III of Prussia, a broad border of mythological figures around, rev. Victory rides with Wellington and Blücher, border with Jupiter casting lightning bolts at battling giants, both 150mm (Eimer 57; BHM 870; E 1067). Much as made, without raised rim, dusty surface, extremely fine and extremely rare; in original leather surrounds of issue £600-800
