Three: Private W. T. Evans, 13th Battalion Middlesex Regiment, killed in action, 31 August 1916

William Thomas Evans was born in North Kensington, Middlesex and enlisted at Hammersmith. Serving with the 13th Battalion Middlesex Regiment, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 31 August 1916, aged 38 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.

The above medals and a Middlesex Regiment cap badge mounted on a board within a wooden frame.
