Duke of Lauderdale, 1672, a silver medal by J. Roettier, bust right, armoured and draped in Roman style, rev. Minerva seated holding spear and ducal helm, his armorial bearings within Garter at her side, 63mm, 93.43g (MI I, 550/208; E 248). Traces of two die flaws on obverse and scratches behind head, edge bruise on reverse, otherwise good very fine and toned, rare £600-800
