Salus standing left, snake entwined on right arm, vase of flowers to left, antique lamp to right, edge named (Founded by Mr & Mrs Newman-Smith for proficiency in Practical Medicine, F.B. Thornton, 1895), 73mm (BHM 3000; E 1609). Better than extremely fine, set in a silver ring with glazed lunettes; housed in original gilt-blocked case of issue £150-200
