France, Augustin de Robespierre (dit Robespierre le Jeune), 1835, an oval uniface cast bronze medal by D d’Angers, bust left, 150 x 134mm (Paris Exh. Cat. 1966, 71; Aréthuse 27 [1930], 111). A later cast of good quality, flaw behind hair, otherwise good very fine, scarce; with integral loop for suspension (£90-120)
