The Lothian Regiment (Royal Scots), a rare other ranks gilding metal helmet plate centre for the regular battalions, 1881-1882 (KK290); to-gether with a black metal wire rosette mounted with a blackened metal strung bugle horn this being the boss badge (worn above the shako plate and below the plume) for the 1869 pattern officer’s shako of the Queen’s Edinburgh Rifles (2), two of the four loops missing from the first item otherwise excellent condition £80-120
