Scottish Glengarry Badge, being a fine quality silver plated thistle head and spray of ‘horizontal’ outline (similar to that worn on the officers’ pouch of the Cameronians (Scottish Rifles), between the thistle head and the leaf sprays are applied serif capitals ‘H’ and ‘C’, original pin back, the badge possibly pertains to the Highland Company of one of the Scottish Rifle Volunteer units; together with the three large brass serif capitals ‘C I V’ (City Imperial Volunteers), lugs removed and converted to a pin bar brooch; a WWI Prussian state cockade mutz badge, red cloth centre, silver plate and black metal backing, two wire fasteners; a small collection of postcards (20+) mainly military and naval interest, including some WWI German examples; an old pair of spectacles; cards and badges in good condition overall (Lot) £40-60
