Volunteer Battalions Royal Fusiliers, an officer’s black patent leather flap pouch bearing a large cast silver plated badge being of Maltese cross pattern overlaid with a QVC and laurel wreath enclosing the Garter Proper with rose centre; a brass ‘duty’ or ‘bed plate’, ‘1/Scots Guards/545/Percy Thomas (top cap badge mount missing), the reverse engraved ‘DUTY”, retailed by Hobsons; an interesting silver plated shield shaped plaque complete with small fastening chains, engraved, ‘Robert The Bruce/Mascot/25th (Nova Scotia) Battn./2nd Canadian Division’, and further engraved with eight WWI battle honours, presumably attached to an animal’s collar; a commemorative circular brown pottery ashtray, the centre with pink coloured depiction of the cap badge of the 5th Battalion, The London Regiment (1908-1920), potter’s mark ‘WOLD’ on reverse, contained in its original cardboard box and with accompanying compliments card from the Worshipful Master, London Rifle Brigade Lodge No. 1962, the patent leather crazed and congealed on the pouch, otherwise good overall condition (6) £50-70
