Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, 1626 [?], Gp B, lightweight issue (?), mm. negro’s head (over cross on steps on obv.?), 2.62g/7h (SCBI Brooker –; N 2236; S 2807). Weak in places and scratched, the date unclear, otherwise fine, the mintmark unrecorded for the lightweight issue £90-120
