Corporation of Glasgow Bravery Medal, 2nd type, silver (James Rigley) hallmarks for Birmingham 1947, with unofficial silver brooch bar, good very fine £80-100

James Rigley, of 9 Swan Street, Glasgow, together with Donald McLean Wilson, endeavoured to rescue a boy from the Forth and Clyde Canal on 15 March 1950. Rigley and Wilson were awarded the Glasgow Bravery Medal on 30 May 1950.
