John Henry Owen was born on 8 March 1884. He served in the ranks of the East Kent Regiment for 7 years 162 days, and as warrant Officer Class 2 for 4 years 124 days. He was appointed Superintending Clerk at the Small Arms School Corps on 24 September 1920, and retired on 12 December 1929.
