Ivan Harold Gann of Empress Avenue, Ilford, attested for service in the 20th Battalion London Regiment on 2 September 1914. With them he served in France/Flanders, 9 March-24 June 1915. After suffering severe shock and general contusions on 18 May 1915, he was invalided to England and discharged on 22 May 1916 due to sickness and was awarded the Silver War Badge. Sold with damaged medal card box of issue and registered envelope, copied service papers and roll extract.

Private William H. B. Andrews, 20th Battalion London Regiment, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 9 October 1915. He was wounded in action, 5 September 1918, at the Canal du Nord, suffering a gunshot wound to the back and chest. As a result of his injury he was discharged on 29 January 1919 and awarded the Silver War Badge. Sold with copied discharge documents and roll extract.
