Alfred Cecil Addison was born in and enlisted at Ipswich, Suffolk, serving initially as Private 35144 in the Suffolk Regiment. Seving with the 5th Battalion K.S.L.I., he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 9 April 1917, aged 37 years. He was buried in the Tilloy British Cemetery, Tilloy-les-Mofflaines. He was the husband of Ann Slapp (formerly Addison) of 71 Richmond Road, Ipswich.
Medals mounted in a wooden glass-fronted frame; named Memorial Scroll contained in a separate wooden glass-fronted frame (unsuitable for posting). Also with two original photographs (the same) of the Addison in uniform.
