Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, no clasp (7876 Pte. S. Brayshaw, Vol. Coy. Cheshire Regt.) naming officially re-impressed, somewhat polished, nearly very fine £50-60

Samuel Brayshaw was born near Stalybridge, Cheshire and enlisted in the Cheshire Regiment in February 1900, aged 20 years, having earlier served in the 4th (Volunteer) Battalion. He subsequently served in the Volunteer Company of the 2nd Battalion in South Africa from February 1901 until May 1902, and was discharged in the latter month.
